Rarely is one bred to be a superstar. Los Angeles native, V Sevani, is one of those rare breeds. From a young age, V was well cultured in the arts. Growing to be a triple-threat, he began to master dance, music, and theater; due to strong influences from his mother, a classically trained pianist, and his father, a collegiate degree holding dancer. His natural talent and gifts shined early, being able to capture and entertain watchers from his first dance moves- to his first theater showcasing in ³A Christmas Carol.²
Around V¹s Eighth birthday his parents opened respected dance studio, Synthesis in North Hollywood. This immediate outlet to perform would become the building blocks to V¹s explosive dancing capabilities, and where he would hone is skills to one day entertain and sing for the world. His talent did not go un-noticed. At the age of 13, Dalvin Degrate former Jodeci member produced and wrote V¹s first song. It was from that moment on that V knew his calling was to entertain.
Over the next year V continued to build attraction for his undeniable talents, gaining the attention of world-renowned manager, Chris Stokes. Along with Stokes, V set out to develop the next generation RnB-Pop group, which resulted in the creation of male pop- sensations NLT (Not Like Them).
For the next four years V and NLT worked on and off creating a following for their signing push. In that four years V took a year and half off to focus on school and graduate. V immediately returned to the group, and things fell right back on track with NLT signing to Geffen Interscope. After finding their sound, the group released their first single, ³That Girl². The video release later that year increased the hype around the band helping them land a promo tour with the PussyCat Dolls.
The tour pushed NLT directly into the music world¹s spotlight. Which led to them working with world famous producer Timbaland on their second single, ³She Said, I Said.² The song took over the radio charts in Los Angeles launching to number for over 6 weeks, and to #37 on the billboard charts. After releasing their third single, ³Karma², produced by Grammy award winner Ryan Tedder, NLT headlined their first tour, the Bandomonium Tour. NLT gained a lot of success and exposure during their tenure but decided to part ways with their manager Chris Stokes after the Bandomonium Tour, which led to their breakup in early April.
V took this time off to further perfect his skills, to become the next superstar pop-entertainer. Common associates led to V meeting LA based producer and CEO, Greg Whitman of independent label High Valley Music. The two were soon in the studio composing what will be V¹s debut solo album, ³Steps². This instant chemistry also led to V signing to High Valley Music. While finishing up his album, ³Steps², V will also be filming hisfirst featured film, ³Rock, Paper, Scissors². Much is to be expected in the near future from V, the next generation entertainer.
