-PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE-
Nov. 2007-Present Music Producer for High Valley Entertainment
-In charge of recording, pre-production mixing, tracking, arranging, composing, and musically developing a variety of artists from multiple genres. (Tim Fagan, V Sevani, Somewhere Else, Co-Defendants, Marion Dean, Wicker, etc.)
-Responsible for scoring music for audio and video content on theewebsite.com (commercials, interludes, FnD films, Live From The Hive theme, etc.).
-Scored music for the film C.L.A.S.S. (http://www.classthemovie.com) and SOPHIE (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1414374/) as well as done multiple songs for television and ad placement (CSI: NY, NEURO beverage commercial, etc.)
March 2007-Oct. 2007 Touring Keyboardist for Colbie Caillat
-Recorded piano, organ, and keyboards for Colbie Caillat’s debut record Coco.
-Received a platinum record for Coco.
-Did a Live Nation tour with The Goo Goo Dolls and Lifehouse, headlined our own sold out tour, and performed all over the world for multiple festivals and Universal Records gatherings.
Aug. 2004-Feb. 2007 Studio Musician and Touring Keyboardist -Recorded on numerous records with multiple artists (Optimus, The Redwater All-stars, Cipes and the People, Chris Gerolmo, Forty Thieves, Didi Benami, etc.)
-Did hundreds of performances including a southwest United States tour with jazz singer Angelyna Martinez, headlining for the Comicon Festival in Tampa with Cipes and the People, and the SXSW festival in Austin with Forty Thieves.
Jan. 1997-July 2004
-While in school, I did commercial recording and composition for American Airlines as well as Pepsi. I played 1000+ shows ranging from Classical Piano performances at the Morton H. Myerson Symphony Hall in Dallas to the IAJE Jazz festival in New Orleans. I arranged music for the play “The Good Doctor” as well as arranged and performed music for the musical “Cuts From Cope”. I was a private piano and theory instructor for more than a dozen individuals and served as an accompanist for UIL competitions and recitals.
-EDUCATION-
2000-2004 Received my Bachelors degree in Piano Performance and Improvisation from New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. I studied piano privately with Ran Blake, Bob Moses, and Michael Cain. Studied composition and arranging with Michael Gandolfi.
1996-2000 Attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, an arts magnet school with strict audition requirements. Studied theory, jazz and classical performance, as well as worked in a MIDI lab where I learned to start producing music.
1987-1996 Completed classical theory and piano training through the Suzuki Method as well as learned and performed the Jazz Fake Book in its entirety. Weekly private piano and group music theory lessons.
